HAND Honors MHP’s Fatima Coreas and Resident Zachary Hailu

PreviousNext

MHP is proud to share that Fatima Coreas, Community Engagement Specialist in MHP’s Neighborhoods Department, and Zachary Hailu, a 10-year-old student in MHP’s Community Life program, were honored by the Housing Association of Nonprofit Developers (HAND) at the group’s annual meeting.

Fatima was honored as the 2022 Emerging Leader of the Year. Zachary, a soon-to-be 5th grader, was selected as Grand Prize Winner of HAND’s Children’s Essay Contest. He wrote an essay about his aspirations for the future, which HAND honored as the best work submitted. Zachary has been enrolled in MHP’s Community Life enrichment programs since kindergarten.

Fatima Coreas has distinguished herself at MHP by connecting and serving residents with empathy and commitment, particularly throughout the pandemic. Watch this video to get to know her.
