Ms. Minh and her daughter, Van, lived in their apartment in Silver Spring, MD, for fifteen years. Then, one night, they were woken up by an explosion and seconds later, their ceiling collapsed, just feet from their beds.
I am very passionate about the work we do. I could spend hours telling you about the critical impact our programs have on the lives of those in need, but I think you may prefer to hear from someone else.
I have the honor to share with you today a story of an important member of the MHP family. His name is Walter and he attends 11th grade at Wheaton High School.
