Local restaurants and food vendors include El Golfo, El Gavilan, La Casita, Mansa Kunda, Love & Flour Bakery, Koma Coffee and others.

Many community organizations will be onsite to share resources and program offerings.
Each year, MHP’s efforts draw attention to the Long Branch community, highlighting the neighborhood’s culture and enhancing its status as a destination. In addition to monthly events, Long Branch efforts have included pedestrian improvements, outdoor stages and eating areas, exterior property enhancements, vibrant murals, social media support, a neighborhood print newspaper, and restoration of the historic Flower Theater façade. Through these efforts, we aim to promote an inclusive future that enables current residents and businesses to be resilient in the face of change, with the goals of bringing communities together, celebrating diversity, expanding understanding of the crucial role of shared public spaces, and highlighting the value of locally owned businesses. This work is especially timely given recent Purple Line construction disruptions impacting this community.
Long Branch Festival is a collaborative partnership between MHP and the Long Branch Business League, with additional support from Montgomery County Government, Montgomery Parks, Purple Line Transit Partners, Skypoint Federal Credit Union, Maryland Physicians Care and Cafritz Foundation.
