Montgomery Housing Partnership 6th Annual BACKpack TO SCHOOL Program

The start of school is just around the corner and many of the great kids in MHP’s summer program are already asking…

“Will I get a backpack for school this year?”

Help us to say “Yes!” to the 300 children in our program.  The start of the 2009 school year finds many of our families coping with the high unemployment rate and struggling to pay for basic necessities such as food, rent and gas.  There is little money leftover for “luxuries” such as school supplies.  Your contribution to the 6th Annual BACKpack TO SCHOOL program will enable us to stuff a backpack with age appropriate supplies for each child.  Here’s what your donation will buy:
