MHP was proud to be a beneficiary organization for the 2010 Help the Homeless Walkathon on the National Mall in DC on Saturday, Nov. 20th. MHP and hundreds of local nonprofit organizations help provide much needed services to the homeless, and to low-income families in need who may otherwise be homeless.
We had a terrific sunny fall day for colleagues, family, friends – adults, children and the family pets - to walk for a great cause. To see additional photos and results from Fannie Mae’s annual Help the Homeless Program, go to: www.helpthehomelessdc.org
2010 HTH Mini-Walk Schedule
MHP also held several mini walks this fall with public schools in Montgomery County and Washington, D.C., and at MHP community centers to educate students and raise awareness for homelessness issues. This is an annual tradition MHP hopes to continue for many years.
